The Management Committee (ManCom) has announced the appointment of Dr. Judy S. Tanael as the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and concurrent Vice Chair of the CAS Operations Committee (OpCom).
Dr. Tanael initially served as the CAS point person for PACUCOA, and helped the College attain its current accreditation status. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Tanael served as the College Secretary, following Dr. Juan O. Mesquida’s return to full-time teaching at the start of school year 2016-2017.
ManCom also announced the appointment of Ms. Agnes S. Enriquez as the acting College Secretary in place of Dr. Tanael. Ms. Enriquez has served the University for close to 20 years as part of the CAS OpCom, and was recently chosen alongside nine others to be one of UA&P’s Dragons Inside.
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Lani Mae Z. Junio for her service as Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of CAS, and concurrently as Vice Chair of the CAS OpCom from 01 April 2016 to 23 January 2017. Dr. Junio will return to full-time teaching this second semester under the Department of Philosophy.
“Please join us in welcoming Dr. Tanael and Ms. Enriquez in their new roles in governance, and in thanking Dr. Junio for her continued service to the University as one of UA&P’s leading educators,” the ManCom announcement read.
