SLG now accepting Law program applications

The School of Law and Governance is now accepting applications to its Law program for SY 2017-2018. The schedule of its Law School Qualifying Test next year is as follows:

  • March 25, 2017 (Saturday), 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • May 27, 2017 (Saturday), 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The UA&P Law program, currently in its third year, confers to students a Juris Doctor degree. The 4-year Law course fulfills all government requirements for those preparing for admission to the bar and requires previous completion of a bachelor’s degree course. In keeping with the UA&P culture, the Law program of the university also offers the professional mentoring program—the only Law school to do so—where aspiring lawyers are personally advised, guided, and assisted by legal pracitioners.

Some of the faculty members of the Law program include retired SC Associate Justice Roberto Abad, CA Associate Justice Mario V. Lopez, Pasay RTC Judge Rowena Tan, and Atty. Timoteo B. Aquino. The pioneer batch of UA&P Law students are set to take the bar examinations in 2018.
