The Management Committee (ManCom) has appointed Dr. Angelito Z. Antonio as the new Vice Dean of the School of Education and Human Development (SED) and Vice Chair of its Operations Committee (OpCom), concurrent with his position as Director of the Child Development and Education (CDE) Program. His term begins on November 1.
With Dr. Antonio on board, ManCom hopes that the School may further gain fresh perspectives on the delivery of educational services and the management of human capital within and outside of the University.
ManCom’s announcement reads: “In particular, we see SED capitalizing on its latest achievement, the Level III reaccreditation of the Master of Arts in Education program (with specializations in Child Development and Education, and Educational Leadership), in order to advance the cause of the School’s other degree programs. At the same time, we look forward to the School and its network of contacts carving out new niches in the rapidly evolving knowledge economy.
“We invite everyone to support the now complete SED OpCom as they strive to stay true to our mission of service-oriented academic innovation and whole-person education and development.”
