The Business Economics Club (BEC) will hold the 2016 Year-End Business Economics Briefing entitled “Beyond the First 100 Days: Unleashing RPotentials” at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium on November 22 (Tuesday) at 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Former Ambassador Jose Romero, holder of the Diosdado Macapagal Professorial Chair on Political Economy, will give his thoughts on the Duterte administration as well as the issue of federalism.
Ms. Karmi Palafox, Managing Partner and Head of the Planning and Urban Design Teams at Palafox Associates, will present a private sector view on traffic congestion and infrastructure.
Mr. Aftab Ahmed (to be confirmed), Citibank Philippines’ Country Officer, will talk about how a multinational bank views the Philippine business environment under the current administration.
UA&P economists Dr. Bernardo Villegas and Dr. Victor Abola will present their outlook for the Philippines and global economy.
