The 5th WYAAP ELC puts the spotlight on environment and technology with the theme, Upgrading Earth: Maximizing Technology and Innovation for People and Planet. The conference aims to provide youth delegates from Asia Pacific countries with relevant information on the status of our environment, and insights on how to respond to the challenges we face with innovation and responsible use of technology.
The ELC will consist of a series of talks and panel discussions from some of the region’s renowned innovators, educators, leaders, and youth advocates. To complement plenary discussions, delegates will also have the opportunity to interact with fellow delegates through breakout sessions, workshops, and group activities. These pocket plenaries will allow delegates to explore more specific topics of their interest, and to boost interaction and collaboration with fellow delegates.
The Emerging Leaders Conference is an annual event for young individuals to learn about the salient issues of today and how they can apply their roles as leaders through a variety of talks, workshops and interactive activities. Participants will have the opportunity to share their ideas and build networks with other youth leaders from the Asia Pacific region. It also serves as venue for the youth to engage in multicultural discussions and memorable experiences.
